In recent months, life has been changed drastically. Most of us are locked up in their homes to avoid the spread of COVID-19 infection. Yes, it is quarantined. This global pandemic has brought a lot of negative outcomes, and people are complaining about living aimlessly in their homes. Here in this write-up, we are compiling a few life lessons that we can learn from this pandemic.
1) Sacrifice | Thinking of others first
We heard stories about the crucifixion of Jesus on the cross and consider as the greatest sacrifice. But how many of us got a chance to contribute to this world. I can understand that we are not Jesus and we are not being asked to give our lives on the cross as well. Here in this global pandemic, we need to sacrifice a bit of our freedom of moving out and socializing people physically. Sacrifice means holding up your greed for the greater cause. This social distancing is going to be a greater good for public health as well.
2) We all are Chefs | Go back to Cooking
Fast-paced life has not given us time to even cook food. Bringing up your hidden Master Chef this quarantine is the need of the hour. Staying home has given us time to sharpen our skills in cooking and bombarding Instagram feed. Learning how to cook is one of the most vital skills a person can have. You depend on yourself. It teaches you self-sustainability and you save a lot of money. It’s all win-win from here.
3) Nature is back | World is a beautiful place to live
Nature is blooming again, pollution is at an all-time low and the ozone layer is healing. The world is a beautiful place to live in and nature is its vital element. Birds are back on tress once again. Sitting on the rooftop, admiring things around you, is Nirvana feeling that we are missing in our life. This pandemic has given a chance to look and admire things that matter the most.
4) Doctors and Researchers | Heroes that don’t wear caps
This global pandemic has made us realize that doctors and researchers are guys that we can trust the most as they are the ones who are going to help us out of this pandemic. We have realized that they are real heroes without caps working day & night and risking their lives to save this world.
All and all, we can say things are messy and when there is a will there is away. We will have the vaccine one day and everything is going to be normal. We all have our life and freedom back. Just stay calm and support each other in this difficult time. Keep yourself and others motivated. This humankind has plenty to offer and this is not the end.
